I get what your saying, honest, but I can and will defend my family, my friends and neighbors. I live in a village and we have no police here. There is no crime where I am, I am surrounded by veterans and old people that have nothing better to do than watch for other people's houses. It's a blessing and a curse. Even with the ammo shortage, there is a range not far from me for locals only and they still shoot every single weekend. I'm protected, but my adult children aren't. They have the training and skill for different weapons, including bows and the means to defend themselves with them, including muzzle loaders. If shit hits the fan, we got a plan. We'll be okay for at least few years as far as food and shelter, but I don't think that will happen in my lifetime and my children were all taught how to live off the land. Idk Tallest, you may be right. I hope not, but maybe. Time will indeed tell.
