My family is going through something similar, but I'm not sure meth is involved. They're several hundred miles away, and I've only gotten one side of the story, but apparently my brother had a psychotic break and went after my mother with a knife. Everyone involved is physically unharmed, but we're all pretty shaken up. Keep your chin up, this kind of shit gets worse if you don't.
