How is this new Voat going to sustain itself financially?

This was a big deal on the original voat. Are you trying to rack up millions in bitcoin and then shut down?

Currently the site is on a server that is less than $20 a month. If we grow too big I'm sure that will change. If I am unable to manage it I will reach out for help.

They should reach out now. Can someone remind me why we're against someone making an understandable profit for providing a service/resource we clearly all desperately want? Who knows, it might even incentive other people to provide other things we also want...?

I'd happily shell out $1/mo or $10/year to pay for a highly functioning, highly reliable Voat that uses most of that money to protect the site.
