the 2400 year old "Battersea" Celtic shield currently in the British Museum. It is a perfect example of Traditional Celtic designs with multiple interlocking spirals, three major sections, each intricately crafted within. It has 27 raised bronze compartments coated with red 'Cloisonne' enamel. The wood and bronze composition is too thin to have been used in combat and is believed to have been a votive offering. The spear is known as a "Celtic La Tenne" design of which 100s of various designs have been unearthed.
