Every second time I call a government number it's now just "sorry, too many people calling, we can't take your call" and then they hang up.

I tried getting government assistance because they changed the thresholds and I am getting less work.

But I am White.

It has been over 45 days - the maximum they state for claims to be processed - and my claim is still "in process".

It takes 6 hours on hold to speak with a phone representative - they do not offer e-mail or other webform helpdesk support, and definitely no chat - only to be told that... it is in process.

I know damned well it is because I am White and a citizen (and male and straight).
