JD Vance had said that Christians should prioritize families over strangers. The new pope, before he was pope, disagreed trying to talk for Jesus. Any Christian that puts a stranger over their own family is not a Christian.
Tiberias Julius Alexander was indeed called a Jew but of course so were the many members of the Herodian dynasty who were clearly and openly Edomites (precisely the opposite of a Jew). I have only come across some vague references to Tiberias’ grandfather being an Egyptian Jew, but of course none of these people lived as Jews and all took part in the destruction of the Jewish kingdom. There were undoubtedly many Jews in prominent positions in Rome, it’s just that I have not come across any evidence to suggest that they were the dominant power, or indeed that those who were prominent would realistically qualify as Jews. As to the destruction of the temple, history is unequivocal that the Romans did what they could to take it rather than destroy it but that the Jews who had remained, despite the clear warning of the Messiah, descended into possibly the must abject spiral of self destruction ever witnessed. After the fall of the city and the temple, the Romans completed the job of utterly dismantling and ploughing in the remains so that ‘not one stone remained upon another’. To say:
it was a pre-scripted and predictively programmed event that was used to empower their spell over Rome.
