I am fine with it as long as they simultaneously rebuild our domestic iron-steel production, and ship manufacturing at an accelerated pace. We can use those ships until that domestic production comes online.
Our Navy still kicks the Chinese Navy's ass. The Chinese might have numbers. The vast majority of the Chinese fleet consists of small ineffective craft that pose no threat other than perhaps being used as suicide bombers.
