I use typescript fwiw. But one thing I love about the language is you can write code that will run on nearly any device on the planet. All languages have their flaws, and JS is notorious for its flaws. But programmers are supposed to know them and avoid them. You can code garbage in any language. But JS has a higher percentage of bad coders using it than any other language, most likely.
