3 years ago bought a 2006 Santa Fe for $3,500 and put $1,500 into suring it up. It had 160,000 miles. 3 years later I have not had to put another dollar into it yet.

Edit:
I realized there is an additional side to this story. Someone else bought a 2014 Santa Fe the same summer and has poured almost 10 grand into fixing sensor and computer problems since then. Brutal. And they dont even own it yet. Lmfao

Haven't put another dollar in over three years? You are changing the oil, right? And according to another comment you've put around 35k miles on it, average life span for brakes is around 40k. Professionally done front and rear will cost you around a grand, depending
