Well you could help first by sharing some of your playing with us.
I know its not easy to share music that you think isn't quite right, but did you listen to the What I am song I shared tonight?
None of that was right at all. but we had fun doing it, well except when my girlfriend walked in front of the PA speakers with the mic and feedback squealed loud as can be.
We do like to open the thread at the same time every week, and their might come a time that neither theBuddha or I am available right at that time for one reason or another. It hasn't happened lately, but it's been either him or I hosting since COF passed away. He opened and hosted some of the past ones when we weren't available to do so, or he might have wanted to when he was sharing his grand daughter singing.
I guess the other thing we might need help with is the archives, as COF was the one managing that until he passed away, and I tried to take it over after that but I learned that I am not a good archivist, not at all, especially compared to him.
PopticalIllusion was helping us with that part of it but he hasn't been lately, he hasn't been in the threads lately much either, but he does pop in once in a while. I think the archive is like 6 months behind, I should do it one day, but if you would like to help that might be arranged.
Still though, the number one thing you can do to help us is share some of your playing with us. I have found it to be a great motivator that helps you to get to playing better. I know nobody wants to be embarrassed. But music is for sharing, it's not a competition. I am sure we would enjoy it even if you were just sharing a 3 chord cowboy chord song. I dont know if you sing, but that always makes the playing a little bit better. at least hides the mistakes, cause people tend to listen to the words, I think.
