Sugar substitutes aren't great for you but they're better for you than sugar which is literally poison for your body.
Added by a responder and important and true "Another good old lie is, a low sodium diet is good for high blood pressure." It is actually the balance between sodium and potassium in your body that determines whether or not you're going to get high blood pressure and damaging hot blood pressure. If you don't have enough potassium in ratio to the sodium then you have problems if your balance is good it almost doesn't matter how much you have of them
