Flat earth claims that space is fake and gay. The person that made this model is a globe earther and tried to use it to debunk the flat Earth. The problem is, as you can see by his statement
It can do this only by doing all calculations in the Heliocentric Model and then projecting the results onto the Flat Earth Model and bending light in a physically impossible manner.
He is taking the heliocentric model and trying to apply it to the flat Earth and then claims that he has to bend the light in unrealistic ways for us to see the observations we do.
This is because his heliocentric claim for cosmology is incorrect. That has always been the flat Earth claim. Nonetheless, when disregarding the notion that heliocentric cosmology is part of the flat Earth, This is a very accurate model.
