And sue me; much of the music from LoZ is admittedly (from the composers) heavily-inspired by Western Classical music (and the influences are pretty obvious to boot).
The fairies ever since OOT have been pretty wild. I think fairies have always been weird; I'm pretty sure it's the trannies that came after their style and not the other way around.
