The PM in France is basically at the same power level as the White House Chief of Staff. Do you know who the current PM is? Me neither. If you look up Macron's PM, can you honestly say you have ever heard the name before? He can "promote" his ideas, but ultimately carries out the orders of the President and Parliament on any issues of actual importance.
