Why does it seem that people tend to feel an almost instinctive reaction of disgust when Christians talk about their faith?

When when I'm talking as if I was a Christian i notice that people react with a hint of inner revulsion.

Like it's a feeling of fear or disgust?

I don't get it, but when im in a voice chat with others I notice it when it happens.

Is this the result of conditioning?

Or is it like "this guy believes this one thing I don't, so I can't trust anything else he says".

Please explain this.

Maybe they think he's some moralfag who's gonna judge them for falling short of their standards.
