Anyone here got a 3d printer? I have some questions

I am aware of one guy that did a whole gun supposedly, even bullets. But not all at once, or what they call “print in place”. He did it in pieces. I would be very skeptical of the usefulness of such a firearm.
Most 3d printed guns are just lowers that you build off of using actual parts.
Like FMDA’s (free men don’t ask) DDxx models (based on glock models: glock 17= DD17, glock 19 = DD19). You print the lower you want and buy the rest of the parts to build it from anywhere you want. The only added thing is you have to buy the rails for DDxx models before you can assemble the rest of the gun.

There are all kinds of different ones now days, though, If you want resources, use defcad, fosscad or the gatalog. Most files you get from others come with readme’s to help instruct you on making whatever you downloaded.
