This is one way Jews get Christians to become radical Zionist philosemites. They just have to get them hooked with a mixture of prestige and sympathy for their fictitious plight, then as soon as they can get them to embarrass themselves by attacking their own. They habitually chose to gaslight themselves into collectivizing purely around ideology instead of race or kin, no matter how unconscious of their own race realism they were.
Effectively creating their own panopticon, and becoming actual true believers.

I’ve watched 100s of Christians going through church split scenarios over the years. And without fail, if their obedience has caused them to do something they would be embarrassed to hear defined out loud, these (ordinarily good, yet obviously simple) people chose to become liars (to others and themselves) on the spot, rather then come clean and turn on their “authority” or ideology.
