You need fat for healthy hormones, preferably animal fats. They put unhealthy fats (vegetable oils) in literally everything, just read your ingredients list. You will see canola, soybean, or some form of vegetable oil in everything, and that is by design. There is a reason that obesity has gone up while vegetable oil intake has increased and animal fat consumption has decreased.

Not to mention that prescription statins are insanely profitable while doing nothing for actual health. Cholesterol is a precursor for all hormone production, not the cause of CVD.
