I saw a few people mention "hasbara" a few months ago. I hadn't come across the term before so I looked it up. It's a jewish term used to describe zionist propaganda. According to the article the Israeli state tends to attribute it's foreign relations problems to "insufficient hasbara."

The other say I thought back on it and realised... this is exactly how narcissists think and operate. When a narcissist encounters opposition, instead of thinking "I might be wrong on this" or "maybe I need to compromise," they're more likely to assume they're correct and that their opponent(s) are either confused or lying.

Either way the clear solution to them is to "educate" everyone around them about how right their position is, either to convince their opponent to cease opposition, or isolate them in an environment hostile to their viewpoint.

Which is of course how israel sees the world. If westerners are opposed to them driving out the palestinians or looting white countries, it's because they don't understand how important Israel is and need to be taught. If they can't be taught it's because they're irrationally hateful and their community must be turned against them.

This is politics through the eyes of a jew.
