After working 16 hr shift after 16 hr shift and almost 2 yrs now (?) working in a covid petri dish i finally caught the vid. Symptoms that caused me to get a test were nothing more than a 101F fever at first. Im currently over the worst of it at this point but the wife is positive now too. Guess were doing a 2 person thanksgiving this year.
No we're not vaccinated.. How sick are we? Picture the worst flu you ever had (104F fevers, throwing up, etc etc etc), This is only a 3 on a 1 through 10 scale. No biggy. Silver lining is that the wife and I will get a small intimate thanksgiving together with some teamwork in the kitchen to make our turkey dinner.
Happy Thanksgiving folks. Be sure to take a moment to give thanks for what you have in life!
I'm just coming out of it, I think, after two weeks of hell. I spent one night in the hospital. For older people it can be very dangerous. I'm almost 50. Young people seem to do okay with it. Mine started with a high fever then about 6 days later I couldn't seem to get a breath and went to hospital. They put in an IV and gave me two different antibiotics and then the anti-body Infusion, which I think saved my life. A few days after that I started to feel a little better each day. This bioweapon flu is no joke. Please be careful. I know a few younger guys in their late 30's who are still in ICU right now and they were very healthy dudes. I've heard of a bunch of deaths ranging from 40-elderly.
