Seriously, I can't find my mushroom book.

It's a bolete of some sort. A squirrel ate the cap before my spore print took.

Can't tell with the lighting and they look like Butter Boletes.

Based on the picture of the underside, they may be a little on the wormy side (Boletes go fast).

As others have said, presuming you've determined them to be edible, slice thin when preparing to remove volunteers from the "meat group".

I also second frying in olive oil as a cooking method for these.
