I just googled this for you. It's called Olbers' Paradox.Current agreed explanation is that because the universe is expanding not all the light has gotten here yet.Light travels at a constant so the further away something becomes, the longer it will take for it's light to get here. For some maybe never.Personally I don't believe the universe is expanding. Seems more likely time runs at different rates.
