Love how this guy is trying to come across all conspiracy...

There is nothing remotely secret about the way they 'restored' shit back in the day. If you actually bother to visit Stone henge, they will tell you about all of this in the visitor centre. No one is trying to hide it.

It's also this kind of crap, that means that modern archaeology usually leaves 25% of a new discovery untouched and in the ground in case better tech comes along in the future

Its mentioned in pretty much every book on the subject. It is no secret, its even mentioned on the official website, right there, not hidden at all (https://www.english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/stonehenge/history-and-stories/).

Most people in countries with fubctional education systems will learn about the 'restoration' in school. If they told you about stone henge in school but the restoration is news to you, blame your teachers, not english heritage or the illuminati... who may well be behind many conspiracies, but hiding the truth about stone henge isn't one of them

Yes, follow the money....you can see it for free.
They do charge a small fee to get right up close to the rocks, but its tiny.
They make money from the cafe, and drink / snack sales.
Its on the way to popular holiday destinations and you can see it from the road.
Most people stop to break up the drive.

so yea, 75% of people visit because they need a piss or food.
English heritage is also a charity....but yea, follow the money

I had a pint on Sunday, in a pub older than the USA, in a world city.

If the henge is so important to someone's visit, then again, I cant imagine they wouldn't know its been restored, given that its common knowledge.

sorry ure skool not gud

You are absolutely correct that it's not ok for them to try and hide the fact it has been rebuild.

Some of the stones are in original position untouched

Some were put upright in the same location but set in concrete

A few were moved.

The main alter stone and solstice one were already in place if I remember right. Also aligns perfectly with the lunar henge in Ireland
