Wife is pregnant, currently going 5 months on it. We were a bit concerned about it as she was given a sanitary order to not leave the house for 3 days with a positive status.
Despite having the symptoms, they called us yesterday and said that it was negative.
I am obviously thankful to God that nothing bad happened in the end and that the baby is doing fine. But do in fact wonder how many false positives are out there. And how people despair so easily to it. I am the most impulsive of the two, and I had to calm her down. (O.o)
My boss and his wife currently have it and his wife is doing worse, hopefully it will pass but I haven't got any news from them in three days.
Due date still progressing normally and we will confirm the sex of the child on next ultrasound. It appears to be a girl but we will see next week.
You realize that even a common flu can be dangerous for the baby she is carrying right? This was my concern. I don't think I implied any panic on my post. Though my wife was in fact quite scared - and again, for the baby.
So yes I am thankful to God that it did not evolved into something worst.
