Hundreds of Danes report car damage after 'tennis balls' hailed down over Northern Italy: 'Never experienced anything like this'

While the southern parts of the country have temperatures above 40 degrees, large parts of Northern Italy are hit by violent storms.
Late Monday night, the skies opened up and sent showers of extremely well-grown hail towards the ground.
The violent hailstorms hit, among other things, the area around the popular tourist destination of Lake Garda, which lies halfway between Milan and Venice, where they caused extensive damage.
