PSP shows you both, and unlike flowvis, it's not easily seen by others without a special light. Which means it can be hidden from competitors. Unlike keel probes/pressure taps, pitot tube arrays, there is nothing affecting the Aerodynamics of what you are investigating upstream or downstream.
