The first time we had the thread here, the thread did not appear in 'all' (or 'new', which I suppose I should use instead).

The second time we had the thread here, the thread appeared in 'all'/'new' just fine. There were no issues.

I made my large 'Banned from Poal' thread and it happily appeared in 'all'.

The third time we had the thread here, the thread did not appear in 'all' or in 'new'. It simply didn't show up in any location other than in the /guitar sub.

(Obviously, all these posts were submissions to the /guitar sub.)

Someone mentioned that it might have something to do with the thread being made a sticky/pinned thread. The three guitar thread submissions were all stickied, with all but one of them never reaching even 'new' or 'all'.

My thinking is to try not sticky-ing the next guitar thread to see if that does indeed make a difference but figured I'd ask here as someone else may have some thoughts on the matter.

Other than that, the mechanics/UX/UI are pretty horrible but we'll get used to it! We appreciate the new home and not being censored when we want to include 'talk.lol' in our text. Yeah, they're that petty on Poal. Though it was much easier to upvote everyone there!

I haven't had an account since voat.co and missed the registration to searchvote.co when all that went down. I've mostly just lurked, but that makes me a serial nonparticipating parasite while everyone else is finding good links, sharing opinions, and shitting on each other with the voat immune system. So I'm off my lazy ass and I'll participate. I like to post linux shit, raspberrypi tutorial links that I'll never bother myself to do on my pi, and political shit that everyone already knows about. Also guns, radios, and prepper/guerrilla stuff. Oh, I came here with the MDE crowd from reddit when all that went down. Fun times, even if Sam's a clown.

Recommended the site to another and they said that the registration stated that the site was temporarily not accepting new users. I tested it and sure enough it doesn't work and I got the same error.

A VPN doesn't work for anonymity. This needs to be addressed or people cannot sign up anonymously.

@System could you weigh in?

We need to see the usernames of those who vote. This will allow to identify the downvoting trolls.

Ive been recently seeing a tiny grey / off white rectangle pop up occasionally when I interact with the site. Its existence is very brief and im fairly sure its some sort of text box with an "OK" button. It is centered on the screen when it displays and if im not mistaken the entire screen tints a lighter shade during its existence. As if covered by a light grey filter. It vanishes when the page is replaced by whatever page I was going to.
