When you click on the username of a user participating in the chat, it always goes to the profile page on Voat.xyz instead of Talk.lol if you're currently on Talk.lol.

Some users like to post many paragraphs. The content isn't necessarily bad, but it takes forever to scroll past (notably on mobile) to get to the actual comment section.

For those really long posts, maybe have them collapsed to a dozen or so lines by default, and have a "read more" prompt.

Hey I noticed if you put a "-" after a sentence and a catbox link directly after it is double posts the words for some reason. Not sure if its specific to the filetype or what. Here's some random images and stuff for testing. It happened in some comments, not sure if it'll happen in a post too.

I am logged in and went into the /anon sub and was going to reply to a post. I clicked the button to turn off the anon to see what would happen. The popup came up that said "whatever the popup says ..." and I canceled it. Then I started typing up something. I decided not to post it.

I then clicked on the "Voat" logo that goes to the frontpage. Everything on the page: usernames and subs were all anon.

anonwhatever, askanon, anontalk, etc... Subs I've never been to. I'm probably going to have to logout to reset it back to normal.

edit: After posting this the frontpage came up and looked normal with usernames and regular subs but if I click on the Voat logo it still goes to anon usernames and anon subs only.

Logging out and logging back in fixed it.

The "anon off" button inside of anon posts now remembers your selection and stays at whatever you set it.

Comments beyond 1st level comments are now displayed based on highest score.

Lots of link submissions are YouTube links (www, m. and youtu.be). It would be great if the video automatically embedded if you expand/open the post so you don't have to go to the YouTube site or app.

Replies with quotes are light grey fonts, they are hard to read. All normal replies are still black fonts, but all the replies with quotes become light grey that are intelligible.

Starting this morning, most of the comments I post remain in the text box at the top of every voat page. As in, the last comment I submit will auto populate the text box on any voat page I open.

Editing a comment already posted seems to disable the bug, but it reappears after posting a new comment. Not consistently though.

Below text was in this text box when I opened this page. The process compressed the three paragraphs from my last comment into one, with the "\r\n\r\n" apparently denoting a new paragraph.

Bugs with videos (TalkDev)

I just played a youtube link in-line (by clicking the "+" by the post, putting the video into action on the page). When I hit the "-" the video disappeared, but the video did not stop playing, I could hear it playing.

Also, these stupid tiktok videos are too long to fit on the page, and you can only see half of the video at any time unless you follow the link or fullscreen it. I think this is a bug, because the video should be scaled to fit the browser's viewing area. It's ridiculous to have to scroll the page up and down to see the video.

I am not sure that words are a good way to describe this. So, I took screenshots...

I made a submission (a poll, if that matters) in the /soapboxbanhammer sub - about midgets and parades, of course.

As you can see, it lists the sub as 'all'. The expected behavior is for it to show the proper sub, the sub where the thread was posted.

Now, it wasn't always like this. Here's an earlier submission that shows the correct sub in the appropriate places.

Ok so I made this a toggle. If I have to be away for an extended period of time I will turn it on, but for the most part it will be up to the spammers themselves whether this is enabled. Right now it's disabled. Let me know if there are any issues.
