My daughter works for NJ's premier animal hospital. Lots of schooling, lots of hands on, and lots of sending doggies to meet their maker. Pay is good. But a decade ago, she considered doing this. Better pay, better hours, lots of room for creativity.
She’s a dog, 70 pounds of German shepherd. She’s fast and sneaky. I go out twice a day and scoop her poop. But it’s been a voyage of discovery. Holy crap, is that a plastic bag, holy shit, is that cat hair. I’m very careful what I feed her but we’re did all this garbage come from?
