So I've spoken of this a bit. I'm not going to flesh it all out here but questions are welcome. You might say it is a very French idea as the foremost intellectual influences on it are French: the Marquis de Sade and Auguste Comte. A Russian intelligence agent told me in 2022 that without my use of Comte I would not be here. Here being where I had just entered. I.e., talking to him.

It's a glorified camping trip until the pigs make it something else. Basically lots of sex, nudity, squatting and trespassing on federal lands, moving around (no stupid compounds for Waco enthusiasts) and ignoring the law. In practice that means no applications for things like fishing and hunting licenses. I expect lots of fugitives and other outcasts to get in pretty early. My basic demographic is hobos and college sluts. It's family formation. Think of the Manson Family had they moved to more defensible areas than Death Valley. 12-35 people to start, men outnumbering women suggesting a gangbang. Children raised in common. No work. No inequality created by private property. And while I say my plan this comes courtesy of Iranian intelligence - with Don Pendleton's 'Nuclear Storm' serving as a huge influence.

I ask the AI if the apostle Paul really saw Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus     (OccidentalEnclave)

Yes, according to the New Testament, Saul (later known as Paul) had a transformative encounter with the risen Jesus on the road to Damascus, where he heard a voice identifying Jesus and experienced a blinding light.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

The Encounter:

As Saul was traveling to Damascus to persecute Christians, he experienced a sudden, blinding light and heard a voice asking, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?".

Jesus's Revelation:

The voice identified itself as Jesus, whom Saul was persecuting.

Conversion and Ministry:

This encounter led to Saul's conversion and a profound transformation, ultimately resulting in his becoming a prominent figure in the early church, known as Paul the Apostle.

Biblical Accounts:

The story of Saul's conversion on the road to Damascus is recounted in the Book of Acts, specifically in Acts 9:1-19, Acts 22:6-16, and Acts 26:12-19.
Not a physical encounter with Jesus during his earthly ministry
Paul did not physically encounter Jesus during his earthly ministry, but rather experienced the risen Christ in a transformative way on the road to Damascus

I will be attending a city hall meeting with his SJW group to protest the proposed creation of a new jail.

But the first thing that gives you an idea this guy is not legit is how undeveloped his ideas are. Anarchists in general have incoherent ideas and the capitalists are especially dense as they fail to see you cannot have both no state and a developed economy - but this guy even missed the Marxist argument against gun control nevermind the anarchist one. His view on guns is just the standard statist one of liberals.

He also lives in subsidized housing. He noted how he thinks he is a hypocrite for doing so. This guy doesn't have a truly revolutionary bone in his body as he fails to see that bleeding the system, rather than, say, contributing to it by voting, or working, or paying taxes, is a step in the right direction.

Ultimately though no one's ideas are legit if they aren't actionable. And his social justice activities are far less about anything radical like dual power than redirecting tax dollars to statist programs he likes.

Certainly jails serve as a form of punitive action taken against disadvantaged groups though. More jail space just means pigs have more opportunity to lock you up so you can be forced to work for capitalists making crap in jail. Forced labor is supposed to be unconstitutional by the way.

AI on the Puritan descent of Hugh Hefner and Roger Nash Baldwin, the founder of the ACLU     (OccidentalEnclave)
submitted by Joe_McCarthy to OccidentalEnclave 1 month ago (+0/-3)
3 comments last comment...
Yes, Roger Nash Baldwin, the co-founder of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), was descended from a prominent New England family with strong ties to the Puritan tradition.

Here's a more detailed look at his background:

Family Background:

Baldwin was born in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, into an affluent and socially active New England family. His family had a history of involvement in social reform and activism.

Puritan Roots:

His family's history in New England, particularly in Massachusetts, strongly suggests Puritan roots, as the region was heavily influenced by Puritan settlers.

Social Reformist Lineage:

Baldwin's uncle, William Henry, served as director of the National Child Labor Committee, and his aunt, Ruth Standish Bowles, helped found the National Urban League, further highlighting his family's involvement in social reform.

Oral History:

In his extensive oral history interview, Roger Baldwin recounts his background of being born on January 21st, 1884, and raised in a wealthy Massachusetts family with a proud reformist lineage.

Pacifist and Reformist:

Baldwin himself was a well-known pacifist, social worker, and civil libertarian, reflecting the reformist values of his family.

Education:

Baldwin attended Harvard University.

------

Yes, Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy, was a descendant of William Bradford, the Puritan governor of the Plymouth Colony, through his father's line.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Puritan Roots:

Hefner often spoke about his upbringing in a "repressed Midwestern Methodist home" and described his parents as "conservative, Midwestern, [and] Methodist".

Descendant of William Bradford:

He specifically stated that his father was a descendant of William Bradford, the Puritan governor of the Plymouth Colony.

Playboy as a Reaction:

Hefner himself suggested that his creation of Playboy was, in part, a reaction to his own Puritan upbringing and the perceived repression he experienced.

Methodist Background:

Hefner's parents were Nebraska-born Methodists who later moved to Chicago.
Hefner's own words
"Playboy from the very beginning has been a very personal magazine, and I think that it is a direct result of my response to my own Puritan upbringing. My parents are - or were typically Midwestern Methodist Puritans, and our roots go all the way back to William Bradford and the Pilgrims."

AI agrees humans cause climate change     (OccidentalEnclave)
submitted by Joe_McCarthy to OccidentalEnclave 1 month ago (+1/-5)
4 comments last comment...
Yes, the overwhelming scientific consensus is that human activities are the primary driver of climate change, primarily due to the release of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuels.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

Greenhouse Gases:

Human activities, such as burning fossil fuels (coal, oil, and gas), deforestation, and industrial processes, release large amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

The Greenhouse Effect:

These gases, including carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide, trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere, leading to a warming effect, known as the greenhouse effect.

Evidence of Human Influence:

Scientists have observed a clear correlation between rising greenhouse gas concentrations and increasing global temperatures, with the most rapid warming occurring since the mid-20th century.

Scientific Consensus:

Major scientific organizations, including the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), NASA, and the United Nations, have stated that human activities are the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century.

Impacts of Climate Change:

This warming trend is causing a range of impacts, including rising sea levels, more frequent and intense extreme weather events, and changes in ecosystems.

Yes, Timothy McVeigh admitted to his role in the Oklahoma City bombing, claiming it was an act of revenge against the federal government for its actions at Waco and Ruby Ridge.

Motive:

McVeigh and his co-conspirator, Terry Nichols, cited the federal government's actions against the Branch Davidian compound in the 1993 Waco siege as a reason for the bombing.

Admittance:

McVeigh stated that he had not known that there was a daycare center on the second floor of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, and that he might have chosen a different target if he had known about it.

Consequences:

The bombing killed 168 people, including 19 children in the daycare center, and injured 684 others.

Although members do not as a rule discuss what goes on within its conferences, Labour MP and onetime party deputy leader Denis Healey, a member of the steering committee for more than 30 years, did offer a clear statement of its intentions when quizzed by journalist Jon Ronson for his book Them in 2001.

“To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair,” he said. ”Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn’t go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people and rendering millions homeless. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing.”

While the US space program, including the Apollo 11 mission that landed humans on the moon, was a US endeavor, it's true that key figures like Wernher von Braun, who led the development of the Saturn V rocket, had previously worked on rocket technology for the Nazis.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

Nazi Involvement:

Wernher von Braun, a German rocket scientist, was a prominent figure in the Nazi regime's secret weapons program, particularly the development of the V-2 rocket.

Operation Paperclip:

After World War II, many German scientists, including von Braun, were brought to the United States through Operation Paperclip to contribute to the US space program.

NASA and the Saturn V:

Von Braun became the director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and played a crucial role in developing the Saturn V rocket, which launched the Apollo 11 mission, landing humans on the moon.

Controversy:

Von Braun's Nazi past has led to controversy and debate about the ethics of using individuals with such backgrounds in the US space program.

Von Braun's Nazi Party Membership:

He became a member of the Nazi party in 1937 and was made a junior SS officer in 1940.

AI disagrees the FBI are political police and the secret police     (OccidentalEnclave)
submitted by Joe_McCarthy to OccidentalEnclave 1 month ago (+1/-2)
1 comments last comment...
No, the FBI is not a political police force; it's a national security and law enforcement agency with both intelligence and law enforcement responsibilities, focusing on investigating federal crimes and protecting the nation from threats.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

FBI's Role:

The FBI is the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Justice and a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community.

Focus Areas:

The FBI's mission includes counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and criminal investigations, with jurisdiction over violations of more than 200 categories of federal crimes.

Not a National Police Force:

The FBI is one of many federal agencies with law enforcement responsibilities, and it does not function as a national police force.

Intelligence-Driven:

The FBI is an intelligence-driven and threat-focused organization, meaning it uses intelligence to inform its law enforcement activities.

Public Corruption:

The FBI investigates violations of federal law by public officials at the federal, state, and local levels of government.

Oversight:

The FBI is responsible to the attorney general, and its intelligence activities are overseen by the Director of National Intelligence.

Accountability:

The FBI is committed to holding powerful people accountable when they break the law.

FBI Police:

The FBI has a police unit that provides security for the FBI Director, the Attorney General, and other national security events.

------

No, the FBI is not a secret police force; it's a national security organization with domestic law enforcement powers, designed to be transparent and accountable, with oversight from Congress, the media, and internal controls.

Here's a more detailed explanation:

Not a Secret Police:

The FBI is designed to be as transparent as possible to ensure it protects the nation while upholding constitutional rights and liberties.

Domestic Law Enforcement:

The FBI has domestic law enforcement powers and is one of many federal agencies with law enforcement responsibilities.

Oversight and Accountability:

The FBI is subject to oversight from Congress, the media, and internal controls within the FBI and the Department of Justice.

Focus on National Security:

The FBI works closely with partners to address the most serious security threats facing the nation.
Transparency vs. Secrecy:
While the FBI sometimes operates in secret, it doesn't mean it's a "secret police".

CIA vs. FBI:

The CIA operates in secrecy, conducting classified missions and covert activities abroad, while the FBI's operations are more transparent.
