Finger scan and slow it down. They’re almost as big as those Giant Asian Hornets, but not quite. I think they’re some sort of domestic fuckers.

EDIT: I just looked online and they seem to be a slightly larger version of an Eastern Yellowjacket. Wings are the same; thorax looks the same. What do you guys think?

it's camoed in the sense that the leaf its on makes yellow flowers. a very cool local species to find. only reason i even knew it was a spider and not a flower petal chunk, is that i stopped my kayak close enough to spot it
