I asked dude how it was he was wearing a Reddit t-shirt and he informed me he works there. I said, “where is Reddit located”? He informed that it is based in San Francisco, which seemed to make sense, but that he works from home. A few seconds go by and I ask him what his title there is. He responds that he is in “data security and moderation”. I dropped the conversation. Go home and look him up and it turns out he is the VP of data security. I’m assuming their internal data and such, whatever. Kind of interesting.
