The conflict between Catholicism and evil.

Here's the big picture: The world today is in a battle between the forces of Catholicism versus communism, which is to say Catholicism versus atheism.

Communism, for all its evil and terror, is, at the end of the day, nothing more than a political system to end belief in God. Every other belief system on earth, every ideological view, is moving toward either one of those two poles.

Catholicism is of God. Atheism is out Satan. Everything else is just battles and wars and skirmishes in the great conflict. Which is not to say they are unimportant — quite the opposite. Wars are finally won by winning enough battles and seizing enough territory to plant your flag firmly atop the capitol.

But while the battles (some larger, some smaller) are being fought, you can never lose sight of the overriding war. That's what it's ultimately all about, which side gets to plant its flag.

War is exhausting. Battles wear you out. That's true of both sides. But the commies face far less opposition than the Catholic side does because Catholics and others of goodwill have simply been naive in their assessment of the reality.

Catholics historically just don't want to get involved, with the exception of the pro-life cause. And even there, it's not like enormous percentages of Catholics were involved. And when it came to voting, gigantic numbers still cast their votes for the child-killing communists.

Likewise, when it comes to charitable giving, Catholics are generally bringing up the rear compared to Protestants. Like Bp. Sheen said, "Catholics have all truth and no zeal." Why that is needs to be explored. But for the moment, let's just leave it where it is for this Vortex episode, and that is that communism has made such rapid and overpowering progress because most Catholics just don't care, or care enough.

Paul DEROGIS: Excellency, during his recent appearance on the French programme ‘Géopolitique Profonde’, when asked about his “Roman” contacts, the president of Civitas, Alain Escada, replied that Bishop Viganò was the only Roman prelate today, apart from those ordained without Roman consent, to fight the New World Order and to support Civitas which also fights against globalism. Do you actually consider yourself an exception among the Roman prelates? And if so, how do you explain this worrying situation?

+Archbishop Carlo M. Viganò: I do not claim to consider myself the only Prelate to have denounced the subversive globalist plan: other Bishops (very few, in fact) have expressed concern about woke ideology, gender theory and green environmentalism. But what I haven’t heard them denounce is Bergoglio’s complicity with the New World Order, which reached new heights of enslavement to Big Pharma during the pandemic farce, and at the World Economic Forum with the climate fraud. I think, however, that in their hearts, some of my colleagues are beginning to open their eyes to a crisis that certainly did not begin in 2013.

The element that, in my opinion, must be understood – for the denunciation to be complete – is the mirror relationship between the coup d’état of the Deep State in the civil sphere and that analogous equivalent of the Deep Church in the ecclesiastical sphere. The modus operandi of subversive actions is identical, as are the principles that animate them and the objectives they set for themselves. It is essential to understand that the Second Vatican Council and the Novus Ordo were to the Church what the Revolution and the Declaration of Human Rights were to civil societies, because at the base of both of them broods the poisonous seed of the Revolution, that is to say the subversion of the natural order that God established for man and for human societies.

Paul D: Do you believe, like the president of Civitas, that globalism is essentially satanic?

Abp. Viganò: The essence of globalism is satanic, and the essence of Satanism is globalist. Because Satan’s plan is to establish the reign of the Antichrist, allowing him to parody Christ’s earthly life, to imitate His miracles with grotesque wonders, to lead crowds not with the simplicity of Truth but with deception and lies. Globalism is, so to speak, the staging, the script and the scenario that must prepare humanity for the political ascent of the Antichrist, to whom the leaders of the world – his servants – will cede national sovereignty so that he becomes a kind of global tyrant.

But the kingdom of the Antichrist is not created out of nothing: it is first necessary to erase what remains of the kingdom of Christ in the institutions, in the culture and in the daily life of the citizens. Moral dissolution is one of the simplest means of subjugating the masses, encouraging them to vice, ridiculing virtue; and, of course, by destroying the natural family, the fundamental cell of society. Once the family is demolished, the children become commodities, products that those with money can order over the Internet, fuelling the vast and growing criminal network, not to mention the surrogacy industry. Divorce, abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality and pan- sexualism, mutilation for gender transition have proven to be effective tools for eliminating not only the revealed Faith, but also the most sacred principles of Natural Law.

And it is indeed a religion, the one that is being established with the Woke ideology; a religion which, like the true Religion but with diametrically opposed goals, intends to impose itself in society, to imbue its dogmas into the institutions, the laws, the education, the culture, the arts and human activities. The globalists apply the Catholic principles of “social kingship,” but proclaim Satan king of society: Te nationum præsides honore tollant publico: colant magistri, judices; leges et artes exprimant. May the rulers of the world publicly honour and extol Thee; May teachers and judges reverence Thee; May the laws and the arts bear Thy mark. These are the words of the hymn of Christ the King, but we see them applied blasphemously by the priests of the New World Order to their king, the prince of this world, and to the Antichrist in his time.

Beware though: globalism, as an emanation of Masonic and revolutionary thought, apparently proclaims democracy and condemns absolute regimes; but in fact, it knows very well that the Monarchy of Divine Right is the best possible form of government, because it subjugates everyone – including the king himself, who is the Vicar of Christ in temporal things – to a transcendent law to which everyone owes obedience.

Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.

In the ninth century, the Church's first-ever Eucharistic controversy arose between two French monks in the same monastery. It wasn't as controversial as it has later been painted, because it was really a "word war," each of them using the same words but assigning the words different meanings.

They had each written a book on the subject, with the Emperor Charles the Bald being the impetus because he wanted to better understand the Church's teaching. When the men had each died, the controversy died with them. Ah, but their books remained, and when we fast-forward to the 11th century, now the fun begins.

Another French monk/priest, Berengarius of Tours, who was well respected for his intellect as well as his simple piety, essentially held the position that Our Lord is really present in the Eucharist, just not fully. It was the theory that the Protestant reformers, especially John Calvin, would seize on 500 years later to deny transubstantiation.

Berengarius' stubbornness is not so much the important part here, but rather, that in seeking to have him admit his error, various councils and ecclesiastical gatherings were forced to clearly lay out, in short form, what the Church had actually believed for the first 1,000 years.

In fact, so clear had these various compositions been regarding what the Church holds and teaches about the Eucharist and the Real Presence (body, blood, soul and divinity), that a thousand years later, Pope Paul VI referred back to them and used them as sources in his own Eucharistic encyclical.

The Church has always believed in the Real Presence, even if it took some controversies and historical clashes to ink it down in precise theological language.

The USCCB can't seem to stop abusing kids.

In the past two or three months, which also happens to coincide with the Washington, D.C., press conference sponsored by the Deposit of Faith Coalition (of which Church Militant is a part), the conservative media spotlight is now shining ever more brightly on the U.S. bishops and their role in the exploitation of minors at the border.

For Catholics who understand, exploiting minors is something the U.S. hierarchy and its staffers have excelled at for decades.

One such example is an excellent article from the Christian Review last week, which blasts the USCCB. Allow us to quote a very small portion from the publication, whose title is "Are the U.S. Bishops Covering Up Child Exploitation Again?" Note the "again" part, which sets the tone right out of the gate.

Choice quotes from the article are as follows:

- "Have any of the children cared for by the Church suffered exploitation in their journey to the border or in placements facilitated by the Catholic Church, I asked. The USCCB refused to respond"
- "The USCCB's lack of transparency is unacceptable. Mounting evidence has exposed gross exploitation of children at the border. The USCCB remains the primary institutional voice opposing border restrictions, while also contracting to provide care to unaccompanied children"
- "In 2020 and 2021, the USCCB had contracts for nearly $25,000,000 each year to care for and place migrant children. What happened to these children and why won't the USCCB discuss it?"

You would think that after the sex abuse scandals of the past 70 years, the billions paid out by the bishops in secret settlement agreements, the bankrupting now of almost three dozen dioceses (and counting) to avoid having to pay any more, not to mention the wrecked lives of the children (mostly boys), the suicides, the drug addictions, the nightmares, that after all that, the scoundrels in miters would have learned a lesson. But no.

There's just too much money in it for them to care about the kids — way too much money. In fact, the total amount of money the U.S. bishops draw down from federal, state, county and municipal governments is in excess of a billion dollars.

A large chunk of that funnels to so-called Catholic Charities, which is neither Catholic nor very charitable.

...

The problem isn't the rules or guidelines or canon law or even the evil; the problem is the men in charge. They don't really see this as a life-destroying evil; they see it as a legal and public relations problem. Sex abuse is bad because of the black eye we get, not because it is a monstrous evil in and of itself.

So now fast-forward to the latest chapter of the bishops involved in exploiting children, only, this time, the children have been placed directly in their "care" by a monstrous child-killing government that is perfectly content to have children suffer, to advance its communist-driven agenda of destroying the republic.

The fat lady is warming up to sing.

In order to be a leader, you have to have the trait of connecting the dots, of seeing the interconnection between things. Wisdom, after all, is that very thing: seeing how various things — some clear, others not so clear — actually align with each other and are all part of the so-called big picture.

So for the usual Joe Six Pack, there are all sorts of things just "happening."

And yes, while it's true, at least in the natural order, that many things just "happen" (car accidents, losing your keys, burning your dinner), there are also other things that are definitely related. And in this area, the discerning mind will observe a critical difference.

Some related things are obviously related. Television ad revenue, for example, relates directly to how many people watch a given show. But others are not so obvious, at least at first. For example, the "coincidences" in the advancement of communism (yeah around the world sure but, most importantly, right here in the United States).

Since the Russian Revolution, it has been well understood by the commies that the West was the enemy, with its foundational Catholic principles. The conclusion of World War II catapulted the United States into the position of sole world power, and with that position came the enmity of the Soviet Union.

We had the bomb. They did not. End of story. As long as we enjoyed military superiority, their world domination plans had to be put on hold. So they stole the secrets to the bomb, made their own, and thus began the nuclear arms race and the Cold War.

How Marx won control of the US.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from onboard Church Militant's autumn Retreat at Sea off the New England coast.

From the country's founding following the War of Independence (and really before), this entire region was the most anti-Catholic in all the colonies. Laws on the books made it essentially illegal to be Catholic or made daily conditions so bad that good numbers of Catholics (the very few there were) went to the southern colonies.

It was only when the waves of Catholic immigrants began arriving here, first as a result of the Irish potato famine beginning in 1845, that the demographics began to shift. Interestingly, however, just as the Irish started coming off the boats on foot, so did Karl Marx arrive, in his written contributions to the New York Daily Tribune.

Both he and Engels, but especially Marx, were anxious to gain communism a foothold in the developing nation, so their editorials were a means to do that.

So involved were they and anxious to see the relatively new country, less than a hundred years old, adopt communism, that they even wrote commentaries on the U.S. Civil War.

New England was the power center of the country, at least intellectually and culturally, as it had been the original geographical nexus.

New York was the locus, with its burgeoning media influence, and Marx recognized that and started pumping his communist propaganda into the infant nation's bloodstream.

Important to note, his doctrines hadn't even really made it onto the Church's radar in any significant fashion at this point. He had about a 40-year head start and was able to lay the groundwork before the Church even really knew about him.

Alarmism appears to be in the forecast.

Most of us are used to finding out the weather from either our phones or the local non-gender-specific "weatherperson" on TV or radio. Bet you didn't know, however, that one of the major efforts going on at the Vatican these days under the Pope Francis pontificate is meteorology. Yup. Meteorology.

Is Pope Francis the global worldwide weatherman? That's what it boils down to in his latest offering, a pronouncement essentially that the world is about to end due to not just the environment but man's destruction of it. And, of course, by "man," he seems to be thinking of Americans, with no mention of the Chinese — the biggest polluters in world history!

It feels like Pope Francis has a bone to pick with America in general, specifically with political conservatives and orthodox Catholics (of which there is a somewhat sizable overlap). From the outside looking in, an orthodox Catholic who is also an America First patriot is treated like a problem.

Of course, all this environmental alarmism is yet another Marxist strategy to empower the government and destroy the little guy by undermining the economy by obliterating energy independence.

Remember two-buck gas? It wasn't that long ago. Owing to Marxists, meaning Democratic control in D.C., the "little guy" is now paying almost a hundred dollars more per month in after-tax income for the exact same amount of gas. Likewise, across the entire economy, airlines, buses, trucking — everything that touches gas — prices have exploded and pretty much stayed there. It's the new Biden "normal."

Airlines fly fewer planes, resulting in fewer overall seats, jam-packed flights, a ridiculously impossible turnaround schedule for crews. And even then, the cost per ticket has increased. Prices at grocery stores have jumped because of the fuel cost for trucks getting food from farm to store shelves. And on and on.

Things cost less when the commies didn't have power because, well, bottom line, they didn't have power.

And yet, they are relentless in shoving their policy of decreasing our energy independence, environmental alarmism, Green New Deal, "save the earth" crap down our throats like it's the truth. And over there on the sidelines are perhaps their biggest cheerleaders — the U.S. bishops' conference.

Julian Assange, Oliver Stone and Jordan Peterson speak up.

So just how bad has censorship and "cancel culture" gotten? Well, imagine a scene where a gang from all over the ideological spectrum comes together to say it's got to end. People as divergent as Oliver Stone, Jordan Peterson, Julian Assange, Richard Dawkins, John Cleese and Tim Robbins are all joining arms and calling for it to stop.

Well, no need to imagine, because that's exactly what happened a couple of weeks ago. Those notables and another 130 high-powered leaders joined in signing the Westminster Declaration, a document calling for an end to the censorship madness because of its threat to democracy.

And at whom is the declaration aimed? Joe Biden, specifically, for his largely successful attempts to enlist Facebook and all the rest of them in censoring the legal free-speech opinions of ordinary Americans about hot-button issues of the day. To their credit, even celebrated liberals among them are saying enough is enough — so much so that they put their signatures on the document.

And when you get as wide a variance as Jordan Peterson and Tim Robbins, each in agreement that there's a big problem, then there's a big problem. Shouldn't be too long now before they are being censored, refused movie roles, canceled from college speaking engagements and so forth. As two of the signatories aptly dubbed this the "censorship industrial complex," it has reached unbelievable heights. And, of course, it's all brought to you by the communist Democrats.
