From your description I seen old man might went south-east of San Antonio, but then I checked and I actually found on https://www.truthfinder.com a person with same name and age was first in San Antonio and last in Kenedy city, so maybe it's true, and not some coincidence. Don't want to mislead you, but looks might be him.
I'm from Europe, so if you are not from TX either, for search put your VPN server as closest to this place you search, and make sure you have some spoof time extension, so google will think you are in search area, and will give you better results. Also you can call some local facilities there, it's a small town, so they maybe will help you more further.
This "truthfinder" seems to work, you will have to gave them your name and email, and pay about $15 for result to be shown they say, after you receive their mail. Hopefully they are not some scam, I just found their webiste to confirm what I seen in my mind.
I think AI used in UAVs is getting a huge boost now because of Ukraine and Gaza war, they can already ignore jamming and do other things due to nanotech, from what I'm reading. But I'm no expert of course, it's just something good to know.
