I know breaker boxes are supposed to prevent overflows but my home office is growing in size and I'm getting a little concerned that those wires might be hot pretty much all day long. Is it possible they are not rated for my level of use even though they have not tripped a breaker?
Dying in a fire is not on my todo list for the day. Thank you.
The possibilities of the internet used to be wide open and unknown. But nowadays I'm keenly aware of the limits of every site that I go to and because of network effects there aren't enough smaller sites to fill in the gaps.
I'm gonna call this list of examples optional reading. You can choose to read them if you like but if you don't like feel free to do something else with your time.
- YouTube you're gonna get a very particular range of videos.
- Twitter you're gonna get a specific format of dialog.
- Voat is the only free speech site on the internet but its size and the format limits it
- Image sharing sites you're gonna a political agenda wrapped in cheap shallow laughs, tits, and cat pics
- Search engines you're gonna get an extremely limited set of tools to do the search and an extremely limited result set.
- News sites are political rags
- Things that used to be called tech and science sites now serve only political slop
To me, when you keep in mind how things seems to always happen in this society, it is like websites can only take a variety of forms if they are to gain popularity and so the internet feels extremely narrow compared to its true potential.
I think it's this book idk. But there is a book out there loaded with people very close to Dr King that lays out a strong case that it was actually the damn FBI that killed him. Just some fum for thunk,
I was pontificating on how Christians have this whole book of horseshit they can draw on to be a cunt.
I know there are some parts of the bible that say it's okay to be a dick to someone if they don't believe in the same bullshit as you. Can someone help me out? I can't remember the specific verses.
I found some truth here but it doesn't quite hit the spot. https://www.quora.com/Does-the-Bible-tell-us-to-kill-non-believers
I know there was something like "if that guy doesn't believe in our bullshit, fuck him, he's evil. don't even feel bad about doing any nasty thing you can think of to him cause he's evil anyways". Something like that. ...anyone?
