SSDs have a limited number of times each cell can be written to. Basically, writing to them damages them. If you're doing anything with video or media where it will write to it frequently (like security cameras or media servers), do it on spinning media. They can handle the number of write cycles much better and you won't notice the slower access times because video can only stream so much data at once and it's not usually random reads.

It was always an alternate plan. I hate that it got politicized by idiots on all sides. NASA does actually plan for contingencies. Nobody needed saving.

It gets better. Just keep at it, stay busy, and before you know it, you won't even think about it.
I really like Spiritbox. They are pop music and death metal and it works. I try to introduce boomers I know to modern metal from time to time just so I can watch them trip a breaker internally. They can't digest anything harder than Nickelback. Spiritbox is the closest I've come to getting some of them to open their minds a little.
