If it makes you feel any better, it took me 9 years to get my 4 year degree. I had to take Calculus 4 times!

I hate to say it because it's becoming a trope now, but when you finish your degree, I would suggest getting some certifications in IT/Software Dev. That industry is only going to get bigger and even the starting pay is absurd (70k+). Plus you don't have to be any good at it. I've worked with some completely inept fucks who were only hired because hiring managers have such a hard time finding people i.e. far more jobs than there are people to fill them.

I went to the ER once about 20 years ago and some spic doctor was my attending physician. I immediately put a stop to that and asked for a Caucasian doctor. They were pissed but complied. I'm afraid you couldn't get away with that these days.
