My neighbor was just telling me what system he would use instead of term limits and I needed to share with someone that might appreciate it.
Each Senator or Representative is only allowed to make 2x the poverty level of the country.
To track how much money each is making have 2 people assigned as forensic accountants to each Senator or Rep. The Forensic accounts would be assigned by a Civil Service pool. In the Civil Service pool are people who owe money for student loans or an alternative to the military draft.
Anything made by the Senators or Reps over the limit is then contributed to the National Debt.
If you work as a Representative or Senator and want to make more money you have to raise the poverty level for the country.
I need advice.
I was borrowing books from my local library for my kids. They're reading at such a fast rate the cost to buy was getting out of hand. I tried using thrift and goodwill books but it was still getting out of hand.
Accidents happen and I've already replaced 2 of the library books we borrowed bc my kids are kids. The library charged me double what the books are worth.
After the second book loss, I wont let my kids borrow anymore but in the meantime they lost 2 more.
I bought used hardbacks of the exact books for 1/3rd the price the library will charge me and they told me they only accept new books and the exact same edition without seeing the quality I'm providing to them.
If I never go back what is the very worst that could happen?
Is it better to take the good quality replacements with the one I found and put them in the book return with a "I'm never coming back note"?
Are the board of trustees at the library elected officials?
