I've had it since the bad old Putt days, and it really is the identity that everyone knows me by, plus I got to have the old VOAT skin, and the cred of having the badges I accumulated (Though I thought I might have been missing some), not to mention that the time accumulated on this ID (which I'm not in love with) make me look like a newbie... I think you underestimate the impact and importance of Upgoat/VOAT. What you've built is a refuge for those of us tired of the culture war. We, by and large, are the people that nobody else wants. We don't think like them, we don't act like them, we didn't get the memo about turning our brains off and accepting what they tell us as fact. We just don't fit in anywhere else. Pragmatically speaking, there is no way the number of accidents needed to create this world and the universe, and make them suitable for life, happened without some divine direction. In the absence of God, it could only have been a series of random accidents that colluded to produce all that we know and see, Including us! Look, I get it, you don't subscribe to God or religion. That's your divine right, I'm not here to change that. You believe what you believe. If the production of humans was a cosmic, accident, Why, did that cosmic accident create in parallel, an environment to sustain that accident? We could have been a blip of cells that just froze or burned up out of existence. No one would have been around to witness anything, Earth would just be a void. But that's NOT what happened, not only were we created, plants and vegetables were created to sustain us. Does it not strike you as weird that so many plant hold medicinal value to humans? What are the chances of medicinal plants being created that directly benefit man? We are part of a system, systems don't happen randomly. Chaos does.
