Kanna is good for anxiety. Its nature Valium. Take a SMALL dose (50mg or so, a small pinch) and put it under the tongue. Don't mess with higher doses as if it's good kanna it will make you vomit.

Except you don't need to do that. You can make kava better without making a batch. Make it by the cup. Kavalactones start oxidizing as soon as you extract them thats why it tastes like dishwasher when you make a large batch in tepid water.

Kava needs a FAT. The best way to make kava is to take the powderized root that you want, 1 to 3 teaspoons, put it in a drop in tea strainer(or directly into the cup), out a liquid sweetener like honey or agave in it, put heavy cream in it and make a porridge. Let sit in the cream for a couple of minutes. You want the fat to infuse into the root. Then pour HOT water(200°f) in it and stir up and let steep for 10 minutes. When done if straining PRESS the kava root to extract the rest of the liquid into the cup.


The secondary benefits of kava are much better than the primary actions. Have a cup today and it's a nice pleasant feeling. Have a cup every other day for 6 weeks and it's a long term antidepressant.


Do not mix with alcohol or other things metabolized by the liver in excess.

Do not mix with xanax or other benzos.

Do not mix with gabapenten.

Only use noble kava. Not tudei.

I work in coffee. 3rd wave machines are great. The world has passed all that pretentious stuff up and served up quality at a reasonable price. But as long as you are happy with it by all means enjoy your coffee.
