Yeah well I am glad you are keeping up with this stuff .. I encountered the claim explosives were built into the major structures at the WTC in NY, in a copy of the Readers Digest that was in a dentist's waiting room in about 1973.
The piece went on to say this practice was fairly widespread in US building construction at the time, so when the attack occurred and the buildings disintegrated it was the first thing that entered my mind, there are other links that talk about it however they are not easy to find.
