we didn't see the the light that scatters the roaches until we were already men, by then it was just as blinding to us as the vermin.
it occured to me that though we don't all agree on the particulars, it's apparent to everyone now that we were looted, attacked, decieved and betrayed by the state and those who seized it through hidden manipulation.
there are those out there that had nobody to turn to but the state, and the state embraced them in the same manner that a spider embraces a fly. even they are beginning to understand now.
be kind. show them that there are more trustworthy authorities than the ones they've known. if you can't convince them of God then at least try to convince them to rely on themselves and their people.
