There was some guy in this situation decided that from now on he would only ever refer to them as "my esteemed colleague." No fantasy gender, no made up stripper-name just "my esteemed colleague."

It drove xir up the wall but there was nothing they could do about it. Even HR was unable to do anything because there's no universe in which "my esteemed colleague" is an insult.

Even before that she was doing weird pro-pedo sketches on her show. And even when she was just trying to do stand-up it was mostly just saying the most disgusting thing she could think of. I genuinely cringed when I saw her performing, I thought they'd let an amateur on stage.

Refusing to buy their crap won't work. They haven't needed you to buy their crap in decades, that's only a side business. Their primary business is producing propaganda, and their only customer is the central bank.

They produce some woke DEI crap, and blackRock gives them a nice big loan of fed money every few years. Then by the time the loan is due inflation has killed half of it and the other half gets taken care of by the next loan.

And you end up paying for it all through inflation.

If they segment the internet then there can't be consensus anymore, or at least not reliably.

I was under the impression lightning was only administered by a single company, so it was vulnerable to whatever governance decisions they make. Is that not the case?

At any rate I keep hearing about how great lightning is, but any time I actually move bitcoin around no one's using it. So I get stuck with the ridiculously high fees and confirmation times.
