There's video of the wind blowing the power poles over, and snapping some off. You could say it was a pretty strong wind, and it was, although those obviously weren't brand new poles in good condition either.

Looked like 80 mph winds. Power poles were snapped and/or leaning over on the ground. Palms were doing okay though, even though blown almost sideways.
