Fair. Still you can't really push the envelope without pulling back a bit at the same time. Go too far in one step and the momentum collapses. Make seemingly outrageous statement that is completely true and then hedge it back a tad is how you advance an idea in the social consciousness. Two steps forward, one step back and unrelenting advancement. That's how the opinions of society have been shifted by literally every group in existence all throughout history.
