The buffoonery you see on the idiot-tube is likely staged, lest he be called to the carpet someday to answer for his crimes & corruption! All he has to do, is flip the switch to idiot mode, and viola, he can't be prosecuted because he's not in his right faculties, and then he walks scot-free!
