I had a friend that hanged himself. Met up with him during a Christmas, asked him what he was during New Year's. He answered, "Oh, just hanging around".
Lo and behold he hanged himself on New Year's Eve. He had apparently planned to kill himself for a while. Traumatic time, but buddy had a sense of humour. I miss the guy immensely but in retrospect I still can't help but laugh at his pun/joke.
