What he says here is pretty reasonable. He only sided with the soviets because the united states at the time supported France's right to imperialism despite it leading to millions of Vietnamese being killed by the Japanese in world War two
They never teach you the other side in history class and they certainly never aired out his grievances when the decision was made to spend millions and send thousands of men to their deaths
