7.62 rnds, (all caliber) out of the TULLA (AMMO) plant in Russia is dirty as fuck and very corrosive, no excuse no exceptions, after firing weapons have to be stripped and cleaned, particular attention must be given to the primary and secondary gas pistons, tube and chamber...fire off an AK or SKS inside a barn and the hay would catch fire....but 2/3 the price of Western ammo...and there's a theory behind that too...when siting idle in bivouac or permanent, soldiers can completely free up their mind from the days bullshit by distracting themselves via a different focus, one with a mechanical task of imperative value...the Roman Legions were never sitting around doing fuck all, either they were building roads,bridges, walls, aqueducts or seriously slam fucking the ass off their captured "booty bitches", Roman generals knew that soldiers cannot sit idle and that mindset is inculcated in the psyche of the complete Russian military, along with performing some mechanical tasks visually obstructed....but yeah...dirty propellant...would you like me to run you through the various propellant classifications and their burn rates relative to standard or compressed loads?...or maybe your extremely bothered by a projectile's low coefficient rating and whether that rating is relative to the width of the meplat, angle of tangent or curve of ogive?...IF YOU'RE LOSING SLEEP JUST STICK WITH A "SECANT OGIVE".
