obviously i'm not going to peruse the technicalities of the translation, but the protection of jews throughout the history of the church is an undeniable fact, even after the revelation of the talmud when a deputation of jews convinced the pope to not ban the text from existence because it would cause jews to lose their identity and thus the christian prophecy of jewish redemption at the last days could never happen. anyone trying to say otherwise is nothing but a fucking liar.
